More Pictures of Police Brutality in Islamic Republic

See more in the Iranian blog:
Are these pictures not as newsworthy of the Guantanamo pictures?

well if they hold these people without trial for 5 years and torture them every week then it would be as bad as guantanamo.

do you know why they were arrested targeted?

lol! You dont know much about Iran do you? nor can you read Persian it seems :)

Have you never read Ayatollah Shahroodi's famous letter where he criticises his own judiciary for having people in prison without ever being charged? Including one case he mentiones where the prisoner has been waiting to be charged for over twenty years??

Even when you come out from prison in IR, your case is never closed. These activists that are released on bail can be called up any time. Thus the psychological pressure never ends.

As for who these wretched people are, does it matter? In a civilised country should the police punish as well as arrest?

hanif leylabi is a disgrace to humanity. Regardless of how noble his ideological stance might be, still, as a human being, he fails miserably. What a shame to justify the unjustifiable and demand tolerance for the intolerable. Your words, hanif, speak volumes...much more so than the ideology you hold so dear.

I already told you I cannot read Farsi.

In a civilised country there'd be no police :-D

:)) There would be a citizen's militia hey? oh and they would all have to prove their working class credentials before joining :)

Imagine if this had happened in L.A or NYC

What would have idiot leftists had done with these pics?

Azarmehr said...

They would have had a field day! We would hear no end of police brutality. But its ok in Islamic Republic, the police brutality can be justified by being "anti-imperialist' :))

Hanif Leylabi said...

Who justified police brutality in Iran as anti imperialist??? Why do you keep making things up? It makes you look incredibly stupid.

Azarmehr said...

Well you support CASMII and the likes of Elaheh Rostami. They do not criticise or campaign against the Islamic Republic saying it will help the US imperialism. See CASMII's objection to a mild criticism of IR in a petition by Znet. So if you support CASMII, then thats what you are saying. So who looks stupid now?

Hanif Leylabi said...

I'm not a member of CASMII or part of CASMII in anyway.

I think a war is the worst thing for the Iranian people, not the present government. Do you disagree?

Azarmehr said...

Yes very much so I agree that war is the worst option. If you have read my posts you will know that. However you do support CASMII. Just see your comments in support of Abbas Edalat and teh fact that you are a member of SWP and they work together with CASMII.
