Tiny image, but I hope he carries on revealing the Islamic Republic's crimes.

It's a shame however that the good things that Karroubi does are overshadowed (for me anyway) by his idiotic continued support of Islamic Republic e.g claiming that Khomeini (of all people) would have disapproved of the post election violence and murders. I know he can't suddenly condemn the system outright, but that's really going too far, Iranians are not fools.

Brave, indeed!

Iranians are not fools, but you sure are Arash.

I find it astounding that you know so much about iran when you sit in the UK?? What makes you more qualified to judge Iran than an Iranian who actually lives there.

The Iranian people (REAL iranians) support the government and want to improve it like any other people do. They don't support backstabbing dissidents like yourself who wouldn't know their enemies even when they reside in their countries.

You got tired of having your pathetic arguments beaten by me on my blog so you decided to take your childishness to Potkin's? Get a life.

"I find it astounding that you know so much about iran when you sit in the UK?? What makes you more qualified to judge Iran than an Iranian who actually lives there."

You keep using this piece of shit argument, you stinky dingleberry, and it doesn't work - how do astronomists and cosmologists get to study the outermost edges of the universe if they don't live there?!

By your line of reasoning, no analysis or examination would be possible save for "people who live there," which is idiotic considering the the availability of information and instantaneous communication. Dumbass.

SZ - kesafat hanooz zer mizani? What are these stupid questions. Arash is expressing his opinion. And he has a point when Khomeini ordered the execution of thousands in the past. Why isn't he right about this point? Its been pointed out time and time again to you, you don't know what experiences people who post comments have had at the hands of this regime or how long people have lived abroad. Just because someone is abroad it doesn't mean they don't go back to the country - just like you. And they don't have to reveal anything to you about their past or present circumstances to qualify their comments.
Oh and 'Mr I'm a real Iranian'. This is yet another example of what your regime is. Go ahead and fefend another hideous rape.

Arash,

The only thing you beat is your meat. Your blog is a joke, at leat potkin has some valid arguments once in a while, its people like you and winston that are a real joke.

SZ said...

Sohrab,

you are really an idiot, you can talk about any country you want as much as you want. Its when you act like you KNOW what people in that country want or feel is when it becomes bullshit.

Arash doesn't know Iran, he just knows what he sees on youtube, and knows what he reads in western papers about Iran. If he actually lived in Iran, he would see what Iran is really like and what the people really want.

And your point about cosmotologists is not valid, they can study it from a distance, but if they were actually able to go there, they would know much more! Same point is true with Iran, you can shout and scream all you want from a distance, but until you go there, you don't know the real facts. Communications and information are great, but nothing beats actually experiencing something and living there. Arash and you both live abroad and curse Iran. Fuck you.

Stop being a fucking ignorant prick.

SZ said...

Amir Ahmag, i don't care what people have experience at the hands of Iran. You can't generalize your own experience and extend it to the nation. Thats purely idiotic. But I wouldn't expect anything else from someone like you.

And VOA???? you list a video from VOA? Are you fucking kidding me? A station funded entirely by Iran's arch-enemy is your source for Iran news and information? No wonder, now it all makes sense, you're a fucking idiot. I will discount your posts from now on. I actually like discussing things with Potkin and Arash, but people like you are just dumber than dirt. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

SZ said...

Anon, nice of you to post with your name, as potkin says, you're a timid idiot! fuck you!

@SZ
According to your own words that anybody who lives outside of Iran has no right to talk about his/her home country, becouse you "think" that they know nothing about Iran, so your loving Ahmadinejad should certainly shut his mouth too about the other contries , Like Lebanon , US, Gaza, Israel etc. . I mean What makes him more qualified to judge all these countires in the world. Like today in his laughable speech. he said something about Indians Americans??!!! He really needs to see a doctor.

"And your point about cosmotologists is not valid, they can study it from a distance, but if they were actually able to go there, they would know much more!"

Wow you really are a dumb little dingleberry.

Cosmologists can't get up close and personal with a supernova because it would obliterate them if they do!

It's an obstacle for cosmologists just like the regime's ban on foreign mainstream media coverage is an obstacle for journalists. Which is why I'm thankful for Twitter and Youtube and blogs so I can see just what your favorite rapists are up to even if I can't go there and nor can mainstream media.

And then there's this gem:

"Anon, nice of you to post with your name, as potkin says, you're a timid idiot! fuck you!"

And what username do you post under, you fucking pillow biter*? Oh wait, it's an initial: S.Z. whatever the fuck that means!

* Let me know if you want me to explain what that is!

Hilda,

I never said I agreed with everything Ahmadinejad says or said in the past.

His denial of the holocaust was idiotic, its mostly rhetoric to please his own fringe conservatives. People in Iran don't dispute facts like that.

Unlike what you and the western media portray, Iranians are not a violent people and our government is very pragmatic. We have not attacked another country since the Islamic Republic was founded. All this talk about iran wanting to destroy Israel is bullshit, its simply not true.

And again, i never said that people cannot talk about other countries all they want. the difference is when they talk about other countries as if they know what the people want and think in that country. As an outsider, there is only so much you can see and know via news feeds.

Arash said...

Sohrab: SZ stands for Shervin Zeinalizadeh. We all know that :)

SZ: Obviously you're just one hell of a confused individual given that YOU make the most comments on my blog. If you think I'm that much of a "joke" then stop stalking me, and go back to your fascist blogs.

SZ badbakht e bichareh! Wow! You really are bitter. I don't care whether or not you discount my posts, you're a nobody. If you read closely, my point was about people who post comments on this blog. I didn't generalise about anyone in Iran. Secondly, for someone that often backs up postings with quotes from Press Tv you sure have a cheek to refer to my sources as biased. That plainly shows your ignorance. Today your rants have a real angry tone about them. I put it down to the fact koonet sookht today when many many many thousands took to the streets not only in Tehran but Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashad, Kermanshah, Tabriz, Ahvaz. They can't all be the unsatisfied rich kids from north Tehran you and the rest of your goonies keep talking about. You keep discounting my posts but like I said previously, as much as I can, I will counter the bullshit propoganda assholes like you spread so fuck you!

What a fals claim of you that we (Iranian in exile) portraying our country in a nagatieve light. On the contrary we're not the ones who show our compatriots as dangerous people . How could we ? Such a peaceful nation, from its very begining with all its good and bad habits, sometimes a real victim of its own naivete.... Those rulers in Iran do that since 1979. They're the ones who show Iran as a very violant nation, especially in their Namaz jomeh shows with their "death to this & death to that" slogans. I(as an Iranian)know very well and exactly where the rest of people are doing during these namaz Jomeh's. namely enjoying their weekends and eat chelokebabs or going to the North or cursing the government for its very bad bad bad foreign policy. In fact they don't give a damn what the government says about Israel or Palestine. Because they have their own lives with their own real serious problems. This government doesn't really represent the Iranians, maybe just 2 or 3 million Iranians are happy with that system. Please don't tell me that you dind't know all this???
Happy Rosh Hashana, and Happy Eide Fetr (almost). ;)

Amir,

Yes, thousands of people represent the whole country. You don't count the millions that show up for Friday Sermon in Tehran, just your thousands that show up with green undies and towels!

hahahaha..fucking idiot. Keep dreaming from a distance, at least I live at home.

Arash,

Who the hell is this Shervin Guy?

Seriously, does sz only stand for that one name? It can't stand for any other name in Iran? Why don't you get some WSJ sources about that and claim that its a good source.

Fucking fascist idiot.

Hilda,

You said:
"This government doesn't really represent the Iranians, maybe just 2 or 3 million Iranians are happy with that system. Please don't tell me that you dind't know all this???"

The Basij alone number around 5 million, they have families to you know, that makes about 18 million if you assume 3-4 people per Basij who are in their family.

Then we go to the Pasdaran, who number about 1 million, if they have families who support them, and the government as a result would give you about 3.5 million.

That makes about 20-21 million people who have a family member fighting for Iran and who support Iran and its government. Iran has about 70 million poeple, if you assume that only half of the others support the government and its policies, you are left with about 35 million people who actually support and defend the Iranian government. Now the other 35 million, may disagree with foreign policy, or with the president, or with any other internal matters, but they don't advocate the overthrow of the system.

Just like in the United States, the country is about half divided between democrats and republicans who disagree on almost everything, but that doesnt meant they want to change the system. Hell, even Obama only got 53% of the vote and he was considered immensely popular. George bush barely got 51% of the vote and you don't call that divided? But in Iran, you claim only 3 million people support the government? HHAHAHAHAHAH..you are fucking deluded and idiotic. Keep believing what you do, it makes it easier for us to discredit the "dissidents" abroad.

Your statistics about those pasdars and Basijis are just overblown. Because not all of these Basijis are actually the ACTIVE members of the Basij. The teachers, farmers or even a large group of retiers does have the membership card of the Basij, but simple, this is because of their subsistent wages and hand to mouth existance, so they need a little more money. But are they really ready to fight for this brutal regime?? Absolutly not.Actually many of them, even those ones with the religious beliefs feel really ashamed of themselves beacause of the recent events in Iran and don't wanna work with them anymore. Like I said they are not really active in Basij and you can read it also on their cards. Maybe sometimes they need them for a demonstration or a namaz jomeh show, or something like that. that's all.

You compare again Iran with US. first of all, personally, I think it's so ridicolous to compare these two countries with each other, It's an old trick from those IRI lobbysts, i know, but anyway... Does the democrats also attack the republicans with (pocket)knives, or hit with their billy clubs or rape them??!!!

Open up your eyes. The majority of this decent and civilised poeple of Iran want change. They don't want those (public) executions, the wemon don't wanna be a second class citizen in the eyes of those law makers anymore, they wanna freedom, freedom of speech, freedom in the press, personal freedoms, etc... They don't want to hear constantly those lies from the state-run It's not that hard to undrestand these simple needs. Who talks about a overthrow??? Why is so hard for you to undrestand this???
