Two More Sentenced to Death

In an interview with Deutche Welle Radio, Iranian lawyer, Nasrin Sotoodeh objected to the death sentences handed out to two of her clients, Ayub Porkaar and Reza Khademi.

Sotoodeh said Ayub Porkaar, who served for four years as a fighter jet pilot during the Iran-Iraq was fired after the war because of his criticisms of the military and the government. He was sentenced to death for being a member of the MeK but Sotoodeh denied this charge was ever proven.

Her other client, 23 year old Reza Khademi, was arrested in his house in Afsarieh district, on eday after the election results. Sotoodeh said Khademi was sentenced to death because he was identified in a picture flying a green balloon.

As with the punishments handed down over the Hijdahe Tir uprising, I suspect most if not all of these death sentences will be lifted. Yes, under Islamic law, a muharib/mufsid can be executed, but can also be forgiven.

Btw, does anyone see a resemblance between Hitler's brownshirts and Mousavi's greenshirts?

Just for that you should be banned from this blog once and for all. But you're lucky Potkin and the rest of us in the pro-democracy movement actually practice what we preach.

AZARMEHR for PRESIDENT!

I want to see Potkin's manifesto on how to deal with the murderous CIA-backed Jundallah and PJAK other than using the short rope against them.

No, I don't, but I see many similarities between you and SZ the Basiji. Birds of a feather and all that...

How can I be a traitor? Do I talk to the BBC, VOA, CIA and MI6? Do I ask the American government for funds and assistance? You can call me a fascist, fundamentalist or a this or a that but you can never accuse me of being vatanforoosh.

Anyway, my cousin in North Tehran is a big Mousavi supporter but his younger brother is in the Baseej - he took part in urging people to go back to their homes.

Its worth remembering that 11 million Iranians are part of the Baseej militia. They are not all street thugs as Potkin makes out.

Rezaye jendeh sefat,

You have sold your people to a bunch of flea ridden mullahs who are not from our land. YOU ARE A TRAITOR. YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE LABELED AS TRAITORS AND MANY IN YOUR GENERATION TO COME. EVEN NOW YOU ARE SO SCARED YOU DO NOT SHOW WHO YOU ARE

Arash said...

Reza the Traitor

You are indeed a traitor and a vatanforoush. You are content for Iran to be raped and plundered by the Mullah junta and you remain indifferent to the suffering of Iranians. You and SZ are as anti-Iranian as it gets.

Arash,

hahahahahahahahahaha...you calling me anti-Iranian...last I checked, you are the one thats against the Iranian government which has the support of the MAJORITY of Iranians!

hahahahaha..you are the one living abroad and cursing Iranians who support our government...Fuck you.

Arash and Nader

You really have lost the plot.

Who is backing Mousavi and the Green movement?

Answer: Mullahs like Rafsanjani, Karroubi, Khatami, Zanjani, Sanaei, Montazeri etc....

Its the Revolutionary Guard who are backing the current government.

At least get the basics right.

Reza the Traitor:

Do you think I give a damn about the Green Movement's leaders? Scum the lot of them. Your point fails. Furthermore the IRGC are supporting the current Junta, but they also have the backing of many Mullahs...Jannati, Yazdi, etc.

SZ the Basiji:

You live in Texas, aka in the Deep South of the "Great Satan", stop pretending you're a good old boy from Iran.

Reza,

The IRGC has its own mullahs, let's not forget. Mesbah Yazdi, the other Khatami, and of course, The Supreme Cocksucker.
