I wish I lived close enough to a big city to attend a rally! I will have to show my support in other ways....here is a nice piece by al-jazeera on the Global Day of Action.

Just came from the Boston rally! So inspired! You had a folks from the older generation with monarchist leanings, you had folks from the serious (anti-IRI) Iranian left, you had younger first generation Iranian-Americans who didn't have any ideology but knew they wanted to support their brothers and sisters in Iran -- all of these people coming together to truly 'unite for Iran.'

Hopefully it will give that little added bit of hope to our comrades back home.

Hey man, just wanted to inform you I attended the rally in New York City. what the hell happened there was that protestors harassed me because I carried a lion & sun flag to the rally. who are these people?

Pro-freedom protesters carrying sun & lion flag in Portland, oregon were harassed by regime agents. Same thing has happened in Washington DC.

This is as bad as my Iranian friends at college in the 70's being harrassed by "students" who were really SAVAK.

MULLAHS OUT! SECULAR (Peaceful) IRAN IN!!!
