New clashes reported in Iran
Posted: 11:25 AM ET
TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) — Security forces wielding clubs and firing weapons beat back demonstrators who flocked to a Tehran square Wednesday to continue protests, with one witness saying security forces beat people like “animals.”

At least two trusted sources described wild and violent conditions at a part of Tehran where protesters had planned to demonstrate.

“They were waiting for us,” the source said. “They all have guns and riot uniforms. It was like a mouse trap.”

“I see many people with broken arms, legs, heads — blood everywhere — pepper gas like war,” the source said.

Around “500 thugs” with clubs came out of a mosque and attacked people in the square, another source said.

The security forces were “”beating women madly” and “killing people like hell,” the source said.

“They beat up a woman so bad she was all bloody,” the source said in a description that underscores the growing and central role of women in the uprising.

Mr. Galloway,

Here is detail of a rich kid who was killed by your sweetheart Ahmadinejad:

Kaveh Alipour, 19 year old was shot to death by Islamic regime. His father, a doorman, searched all of the city to find his son and finally finds his only son is dead and being held at a morgue outside of Tehran. He goes to collect the body and is told he must pay a $3,000 fee for the bullet used to killed his son before he can arrange burial.

I think that the death toll is at least 10 times the official amount. A lot is being hidden and that is normal in these situations. You just have to underestimate what is going on.

The real shame is that the MSM is complicit in this activity. They have underestimated the numbers that had turned out in protest, thus taking the regime line of trivializing the whole event. I know that there are constraints being placed upon them in Iran but they could at least try to do follow ups where possible and to not believe what comes out of official channels.

Since the protests are nationwide and there are reports of people being shot and killed in other locations, there is no way that only 15 have died.

Shame on the MSM for their poor reporting of the facts.

Dear Azarmehr, the dead and injured are innumerable. I set up the site http://iranbodycount.blogspot.com and I just don't have the time to post all the killed and injured, all photos and videos, they are soo much!!! I could do it all day and they won't finish!

This is worse than anything before..
